Summer Time! Summer time if for fun, friends, sleepovers, vacations, out of town visitors, late nights, lightening bugs, fireworks, relaxing weekends, late brunches, new swim suits, water balloon fights, new 4th of July shirts, BBQs and fun adventures!

Almost a month into our summer with 2 more months to go. Exciting new adventures on the horizon. And lots of memories already made. Jake sang the National Anthem at the Rockies game. Brayden is FINALLY signed up for soccer. Jake is playing baseball. My parents came to visit. Roxy has taken some adventures out with us- and without us- whoops! And thanks to out nice neighbor who took her for a walk and returned her when Roxy stopped to look at our fence. Celebrated the Dynamic Destructive Duo’s birthdays- AGAIN. Toots will be coming soon. My Mason will celebrate his 1st birthday in just about a month (1 day after The Hubster’s birthday and exactly on my dad’s- My Mason’s great-grandfather’s birthday!). And some very exciting, but still secret new waiting to be shared.

All the while, a Working Mom’s job is never done. I long for a job where I can work from home and get to enjoy the excitement of the summer days. Maybe. Because, let’s face it, that also involved lots of “MOM! He’s hitting me!” “MOM! He touched me!” “MOM! I’m bored”— what?! It’s 7:30am- how can you be bored?! Go outside, ride a bike, play with neighbor friends, play kick the can. Don’t come back til dark. Drink water from the hose and DON’T CALL ME from those darn IPhones I now loathe getting you! Ok— office it is. Going to the office doesn’t sound so bad. Speaking of which… time to get ready to go to the office this morning.
